How do I stay informed about the currently available housing?

Currently available accommodations 
We regularly have several accommodations available in our portfolio, so it is important to keep a close eye on our website. 


What if I can’t find anything suitable? 
If there is currently no accommodation you are interested in, you can like our facebook page to keep up to date with the latest offer.


Receive an instant notification as soon as we add an advertisement 
As soon as we add a new offer to our website, you will automatically receive a notification on facebook.

How do I make a viewing appointment?

Have you seen a nice house? 
If you have seen a nice living space between our current offer and you want to view it, you can make a viewing proposal via the button “plan a viewing” on the page of the relevant home. After receiving your viewing proposal, we will contact the current resident and schedule a viewing with you. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

When can I view a rental accommodation?

Viewing times 
You can arrange viewings with us from Monday through Friday between 10:00 and 17:00. 


Forward your contact information and availability 
As soon as we have received your preferred dates and time via the button “schedule a viewing” at the relevant property, we will contact you by email as soon as possible to confirm the appointment.


Agreement of the current tenant 
Please note that we sometimes have to deviate from the preferred date and time, because we also need the agreement of the current tenant. When the viewing has been definitively scheduled, you will receive an email.
 

Are there waiting lists for rental houses?

Woonmanagement Maastricht does not make use of any waiting lists.

What information do I need to provide if I decide to rent an accommodation?

In order to rent an accommodation, the following documents must be provided:
You will have to complete your personal profile on our website with your general personal data.
In addition to your personal data, we may need the following additional information:


- A copy of you employment agreement and / or pay slip
- Proof of enrollment in study
- Possibly a guarantee agreement 

What is the minimum rental period?

Determining the rental period 
The minimum or maximum rental period can be seen next to each residential object. At the start of the lease, the minimum or maximum rental period is also determined in consultation with the landlord.


Tenancy agreement for a minimum of 12 months (1 year) 
The minimum rental period is usually 12 months (1 year), however, this can be deviated from in certain circumstances.

Do I have to pay a security deposit if I rent a property?

Paying the security deposit 
Tentants must always pay a security deposit at the start of the tenancy agreement before keys can be handed over. The amount of the deposit will be determined in consultation with the landlord. 


How much deposit do I have to pay?
In most cases the landlord charges two times the basic rent. However, this may be deviated from. This could include a furnished object.

How does Woonmanagement Maastricht determine whether a prospective tenant will be assigned an accommodation?

I want to rent
After you have viewed a property, you can indicate through your personal profile whether you want to rent the house. Immediately after we have received all requests, we submit them to the landlord for approval.


Approval of the landlord 
If the landlord approves, you will receive an email from us that you have been selected as the new tenant. After this you will receive a digital acceptance form and a contract by email, which can be read and signed online.

Where and when will the key handover of my new home take place?

Handover of keys 
Handover will take place on the start date of the tenancy agreement at our office. Remember to bring a valid ID and proof of deposit and rental payment. You will always receive the key from an employee of Woonmanagement Maastricht, so you should never accept the key from the former occupant. 


Condition of the accommodation 
Woonmanagement Maastricht takes care of the inspection by means of photos. These photos will be sent by email to the tenant and landlord to record the current state of the property.

Will a move-in report be made at the start of my tenancy agreement?

At the start of the tenancy agreement we make a inspection by means of photos to record the current state of the living space. 


The tenant portal 
The file with your inspection can be viewed at any time through your personal tenant portal on www.hmsystems.nl.
